Where is Murano today? The shop windows with glass objects can now be found from Piazza S. Marco, to the little street in S. Croce, to Castello, not to mention Rialto and the surrounding areas. So a vast offer of downward prices, but also a dizzying drop in quality. Anyone who purchased up to the 70s and 80s certainly has something beautiful and authentic at home. But seeing the enormous production on the market today, one has to doubt the quality and origin. Where are the big names of historic glassworks and the signatures of important artists?
