Peintre-graveur is the French definition which best describes my activity. It means that I create my works, based on my own reflections and projects, in limited series, numbered and signed.

The techniques that I use range from the most ancient and traditional, such as etching and xylography, to the most up-to-date techniques that are being developed thanks to digital technology. It is, however, always a matter of technology serving the artist and not vice versa.

This artistic progress also constitutes my "biography". I should also mention my teachers and mentors: in artistic techniques they are Sanchini, Licata and Goetz; in humanistic studies they are Severino, Padoan, Cozzi and Bortolotto.

The important advances in my career have included many exhibitions held both in Italy and abroad (France in particular during the eighties). The more significant solo exhibitions have also been centred on particular themes.
